Directions
- Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.

- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste, green chilies, and chopped tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add boneless chicken pieces and sauté until they are lightly browned.
- Add yogurt, chopped mint leaves, cilantro leaves, and salt. Mix well.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- In a separate pot, boil water and add soaked basmati rice. Cook until the rice is 3/4th done.
- Drain the rice and set it aside.
- Take a deep bottomed pan and layer the chicken curry and rice alternatively.
- Cover the pan with a tight lid and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- Once done, turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
