Ingredients
- 6 lbs. 2-row malted barley
- 2 lbs. flaked corn

- 5 gallons of water
Instructions
- Heat 3 gallons of water in a large pot to 165°F.
- Add the malted barley and flaked corn to the pot and stir well.
- Maintain the temperature at 152°F for 90 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool to 170°F.
- Add the Cascade hops to the pot and let it steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a mesh strainer into a fermenting vessel and add enough water to get to 5 gallons.
- Add the American Ale yeast to the fermenting vessel and let it ferment for 7-10 days.
- Bottle or keg the beer and let it carbonate for 2-3 weeks.
